Therefore, many experts and scholars have researched new methods for preparing WC-Co composite powder, including spray conversion method, mechanical alloying method, plasma method, chemical precipitation method, oxidation-reduction method, sol-gel method, and direct carbonization method, etc. Among them, the spray conversion method is a relatively mature and advanced method, and the violet tungsten oxide spray drying-direct carbonization method has been proved to be a new technology for preparing WC-Co composite powder with simple equipment, pure phase and precise carbon content control.
