Nanometer violet tungsten oxide may be applied for producing nano-ceramic dispersion solution, which can effectively shield the heat energy in the near-infrared and far-infrared regions. Such dispersion solution not only has superior thermal insulation properties, but also has high transparency, weather resistance and stability. And therefore, it reduces indoor temperatures during the summer and controls heat loss during the winter.
Some scholars have studied the preparation process of violet tungsten oxide and the influence of raw material APT on the production of violet tungsten oxide. The X-ray diffractomer is used to analyze components, the scanning electron microscopy is used to observe morphology and the transmission electron microscopy is used to test performances of violet tungsten oxide products. The properties of fine tungsten powder and fine tungsten carbide powder prepared by using violet tungsten oxide as raw material were studied. The results show that the preparation process of violet tungsten oxide is advanced and reasonable. The tungsten powder and tungsten carbide powder obtained from violet tungsten oxide are fine and uniform with good dispersibility. In other words, violet tungsten oxide is a high-quality raw material for preparing high-performance cemented carbide.
