Nanometer violet tungsten oxide may be applied for preparing thermal insulation film, and thus be used in architectural glass such as sun room, exhibition hall, hotel, villa, high-rise apartment, and high-grade automotive glass.
Violet tungsten oxide can be prepared by APT mild reduction method. In order to study the influence of APT raw materials on the production of violet tungsten oxide, some scholars have used two types of APT raw materials to proof it. They are APT prepared by intermittent evaporation crystallization and APT produced by continuous evaporation crystallization.
The experimental results show that both types of APT can produce high quality violet tungsten oxide. While the performance of APT raw materials will affect the production and quality of violet tungsten oxide produced by rotary kiln. Therefore, the quality and performance of APT should be stable. On the other hand, in order to adapt to the changes in the performance of the raw material APT, the process conditions of the rotary kiln should also be adjusted accordingly.
