Nano particle size violet tungsten oxide for thermal insulation dispersion may be prepared by using ammonium metatungstate, ammonium nitrate and urea as raw materials. The obtained powder is a nanorod-shaped violet tungsten oxide with a diameter of 100~200nm and a length of 0.5~5μm. The violet tungsten powder prepared by this method has fine particle size, high preparation efficiency and low cost.
The specific preparation steps are as follows:
Step One: Weigh 0.01mol of ammonium metatungstate ((NH4)6H2W1204(i)), 0.36mol of ammonium nitrate (NH4NO3) and 0.15mol of urea (CO(NH2)2) according to the reaction ratio.
Step Two: Dissolve the above raw material in an appropriate amount of deionized water and stirred until completely dissolved, then heated at a constant temperature of 200°C. After the solution is evaporated to dryness, a vigorous redox reaction occurs in a few tens of seconds to release a large amount of gas, and at the same time, violet tungsten oxide is produced.
