Blue nano tungsten oxide may be used not only for preparing thermal insulating glass, but also for producing tungsten powder by cyclic redox process. The experimental materials and experimental equipment required to prepare tungsten powder by this method are as follows.
1.0 Experimental material. The ultrapure ammonium paratungstate (APT) used in the experiment was prepared by evaporative crystallization with a chemical formula of 5(NH4)2O?12WO3?5H2O. The content of WO3 in this ultrapure ammonium paratungstate was 89.06%, calcined at 750°C, and the weight loss was 10.94%. The purity of hydrogen is 99.99% and the dew point is less than -40°C. The purity of argon is 99.99%.
2.0 Experimental equipment. The single tube reduction furnace has a furnace size of Φ30×200mm, a rated power of 2.5kW, a rated voltage of 220V, and a rated maximum temperature of 1200°C. The detection equipment is also required, including a scanning electron microscope, and a laser particle size analyzer, etc.
