Blue Tungsten Oxide Powder Applied for Heat-insulating Glass Window Film

Blue tungsten oxide powder for heat-insulating glass window film can be used to prepare tungsten powder. Some scholars have studied the main four phase transitions of blue tungsten oxide at the reduction temperature of 770°C~900°C. in other words, they study the processes: β-tungsten oxide → γ-tungsten oxide → tungsten dioxide → tungsten powder. The following mainly discusses the reduction process from γ-tungsten oxide to tungsten dioxide. It can be seen that some γ-tungsten oxide develops into tungsten dioxide, and the tungsten dioxide formed by γ-tungsten oxide has particles which are denser and shaped like the particle morphology of tungsten powder. Therefore, this process is more important than the reduction process from the main phase composition of blue tungsten, β-tungsten oxide to γ-tungsten oxide. If the process conditions are controlled, fine or ultrafine tungsten powder can be obtained by using γ-tungsten oxide as raw material. The morphology of tungsten carbide mainly depends on the morphology of tungsten powder. Therefore, high-quality tungsten carbide products can be prepared by using γ-tungsten oxide as raw material.
