Blue tungsten oxide powder may be used not only for the preparation of thermal insulating glass material, but also as a raw material for preparing ultrafine tungsten powder in the hydrogen reduction process. Some researchers have adopted blue tungsten oxide as a raw material to prepare ultrafine tungsten powder by hydrogen reduction. And they studied the effects of reduction temperature, loading capacity and hydrogen flow rate on the particle size of tungsten powder.
First, prepare sample. The content of the main phase component (WO2.9) of blue tungsten oxide is 35%~85%, in which the tungsten content is 79.2%~80%. The bulk specific gravity of blue tungsten oxide is 2.4~2.8g?cm-3. The particle size of Fischer is 12~20μm. The mobility of Hall is 25~40s?50g-1. The mesh size of the screen is 60 meshes. The blue tungsten oxide hydrogen reduction process was carried out using a single tube reduction furnace to prepare ultrafine tungsten powder, and the maximum working temperature was 1000°C. The dew point of hydrogen is less than -40°C and the purity is 99.99%. Second, choose appropriate test method. The morphology of the ground tungsten powder was analyzed by electron probe scanner (SEM). The grain size of the ground tungsten powder was analyzed by laser particle size analyzer.
