Blue tungsten oxide for transparent thermal insulation window film can be used to prepare tungsten powder --- hydrogen reduction of blue tungsten oxide to prepare tungsten powder. And some scholars have studied the effect of H2/WO3-x ratio and reduction temperature on the particle size of tungsten powder. It is found that the effect of the reduction temperature on the particle size of tungsten powder is quite obvious if the speed is 1.4r/min, the inclination angle is 1.6°, and the reduction temperature is set at 800°C and 900°C respectively.
According to the results, if the reduction temperature increases, the reaction rate increases, the concentration of water vapor increases per unit time, the chemical vapor migration increases, and the particle size of tungsten powder grows significantly. If the H2/WO3-x ratio increases, the water vapor concentration in the furnace decreases, and the particle size of tungsten powder decreases. At low temperatures, the H2/WO3-x ratio has little effect on the particle size of tungsten powder, and the effect is much greater at high temperature. In industrial production, fluctuations in H2 gas flow rate must be strictly controlled when preparing coarser tungsten powder. In order to avoid the H2 flow carrying the flying material, H2 flow rate should not be too large. In other words, appropriate H2/WO3-x ratio should be selected.
