Blue tungsten oxide powder, which may be used for producing transparent thermal insulation window film, can be hydrogen reduced to prepare tungsten powder by two reduction methods. They are static reduction method and dynamic reduction method, respectively. Thus, the hydrogen reduction of blue tungsten oxide powder to produce tungsten powder has two kinds of reduction furnaces, namely static reduction propulsion reduction furnace and dynamic reduction rotary reduction furnace.
According to the data, under the condition of ensuring sufficient reduction, compared with the static reduction propulsion reduction furnace, the dynamic reduction rotary reduction furnace can be used to produce tungsten powder with the same grade at smaller H2/WO3- x as the difference of water vapor concentration inside the powder is small due to the turning of the material. At the same time, the tungsten powder produced by the rotary furnace has a more intense "agglomeration" phenomenon, and even extends to the WC powder.
