Dark blue nano tungsten oxide may be applied for producing thermal absorption agricultural plastic film. The obtained agricultural thin film is a type of nano thermal insulating agricultural film with the characteristics of relative high visible light transmittance, infrared shielding rate and appropriate ultraviolet transmittance. In order to obtain agricultural film with excellent heat insulating effect, some experts have specially conducted research on agricultural film with the addition of blue tungsten oxide powder.
They found that the nano heat insulation film consists of a transparent base film and a transparent resin layer, wherein the resin layer contains blue tungsten oxide thermal insulation material. And this material has a blocking ratio of 79% or more of infrared rays in the wave length of 780nm~2400nm and 57% of ultraviolet rays in wavelength of 380nm, and transmittance of more than 92% of visible light. The blue tungsten oxide powder is of nano particle size.
