Nanometer cesium tungsten bronze may be used for the preparation of infrared thermal insulation nano material. This is because the cesium tungsten bronze nanoparticles have small particle size and uniform particle size distribution. And the primary particle diameter is 5~20nm. Also, the particles are uniformly dispersed in water with good stability. In other words, the nano-dispersion of cesium tungsten bronze of transparent aqueous phase has good optical properties. To be specific, such thermal insulation nano material of cesium tungsten bronze has a visible light transmittance of 75% at 500nm, and a near-infrared shielding rate of up to 91% at 1000nm.
Some experts have found that a transparent nano-composite coating material with near-infrared ray shielding effect can be prepared by blending a nano-dispersion of cesium tungsten bronze transparent aqueous phase (having good optical properties) with water-base resin on a glass substrate. And therefore, the new nano thermal insulation material can be used in the thermal insulation fields of architectural glass or automotive glass.
