Nanometer cesium tungsten bronze may be used in the preparation of a new type of heat insulation coating, which is more and more widely used in the heat insulation field of building glass or automotive glass. Thus, some experts have specially studied this kind of new nano materials which may be used for glass heat insulation. In this process, they found that cesium tungsten bronze powder may be prepared by the following method.
Preparation of Cesium Tungsten Bronze Powder
Step one: Prepare a precursor solution containing tungstic acid, cesium carbonate and reducing substance (such as citric acid) according to a Cs/W molar ratio of 0.01-0.35:1. The solvent is water or a mixture of ethanol and water, ethanol to water in a volume ratio of 1:4-4:1. The concentration of tungstic acid in the precursor solution is 0.1-1.0mol/L. And the concentration of citric acid is 0.1-1.5mol/L.
Step two: The precursor solution was placed in an autoclave and reacted at 180-200°C for 1-3d. The obtained precipitate was post-treated to get cesium tungsten bronze powder.
