Nano grain size cesium tungsten bronze may be used for the preparation of a new type of transparent thermal insulation paper. The obtained transparent "paper" is actually a dingal film. The dingal film can be prepared in accordance with a conventional preparation process, such as by formulating it into dingal slurry and then coating the slurry on a glass substrate to form a heat insulation film. Thus, the dingal film containing cesium tungsten bronze powder has excellent shielding performance to infrared, especially near-infrared. And it costs less.
It can be seen that the heat insulation principle of this new thermal insulation material is different from that of common heat-insulation paper. As you may have known, most of non-transparent solid materials have very low direct conductivity to heat radiation. And common heat-insulation paper achieves heat insulation performance through this principle. However, in this case, the visible light transmittance is lowered at the same time, which causes the interior to be dim. While it is not the case with a transparent thermal insulation paper adding with nano cesium tungsten bronze. And the heat insulation effect of new thermal insulation film is much better than that of common heat insulation paper.
