Nano grain size cesium tungsten bronze, as a new environmentally friendly thermal insulation material, has excellent optical properties. Specifically, such heat insulating material has good ultraviolet and near-infrared shielding properties, and has high visible light transmittance, so it may be applied in thermal insulating glass.
Some experts have dispersed nano cesium tungsten bronze in deionized water and measured an average particle size of 188.5nm and a specific surface area of 41.67m2/g. Experts also tested their optical properties and found that their UV-Vis spectrophotometer test results are:
1.0 The glass coated with cesium tungsten bronze transparent heat-insulating coating has the highest light transmittance at a wavelength of 799nm, which is 62%;
2.0 Such glass has the lowest light transmittance at a wavelength of 1100nm in the near-infrared region, which is 49%. Compared with the highest transmittance in the visible light region, the transmittance at 1100nm in the near-infrared region is decreased by VT (%) = 13%.
