Cesium tungsten bronze powder may be used as a heat-insulating material such as heat-insulating film or heat-insulating coating. And therefore it may be widely applied for heat insulating window glass. Some experts have dispersed the cesium tungsten bronze powder in a polyvinyl alcohol aqueous solution (concentration 1g/10ml) to obtain the following parameters: the average particle size is 56.6nm, and the specific surface area is 43.2m2/g.
The experts also tested the light transmittance of heat insulation material of cesium tungsten bronze with an ultraviolet-visible spectrophotometer. The results showed that the car window glass coated with heat-insulating coating of cesium tungsten bronze has the highest light transmittance at a wavelength of 674nm, which is 62.6%; In the near-infrared region at 780-1100nm, such coating has a minimum light transmittance at a wavelength of 1100nm of 49%. And the transmittance at 1100nm in the near-infrared region is decreased by VT (%) = 13.6% compared with the highest transmittance in the visible region.
