Cesium tungsten bronze powder may be applied for manufacturing infrared ultraviolet shielding material. The so-called infrared ultraviolet blocking material is actually a new kind of heat insulating material. As its name suggests, it can block the infrared and ultraviolet rays. And at the same time, it ensures high visible light transmittance. Therefore, this kind of insulating material is widely used in heat insulating glass. The experts successfully prepared cesium tungsten bronze powder with a Cs/W (molar ratio) = 0.3:1 by the following steps:
1.0 Weigh a certain amount of sodium tungstate, dissolve in deionized water, prepare 0.5mol/L sodium tungstate solution, and ion exchange the sodium tungstate solution with styrene cation exchange resin to obtain 0.5mol/L tungsten acid solution;
2.0 Take 20ml of 0.5mol/L tungstic acid solution, put it into a beaker, add 30ml 2mol/L citric acid solution once in stirring, slowly add 5ml 0.3mol/L cesium carbonate solution and continue stirring for 1h to obtain precursor solution;
3.0 Transfer the precursor solution prepared above into an autoclave, and continuously hydrothermally react at 200°C for 3d;
4.0 The precipitate after the reaction was washed with water and alcohol three times in this order, and after centrifugation, it was dried in a sub-vacuum at 50°C for 10 hours to obtain cesium tungsten bronze.
