Cesium tungsten bronze powder may be applied for manufacturing near-infrared shielding material, i.e. for the manufacture of a new transparent heat insulating material. As a kind of green energy-saving material, this kind of transparent heat insulation material has a very broad application prospect in the field of construction and automobile. Certainly, in addition to the transparent heat insulation materials of cesium tungsten bronze nanoparticles, there are two more common transparent heat insulation materials:
1.0 Functional materials with near-infrared shielding properties. Such materials are generally used after forming film on the transparent substrate by sputtering method, chemical deposition method, or physical coating method. Among them, studies on conductive metal oxide thermal insulation films prepared by physical coating on glass surfaces, such as, indium tin oxide, antimony tin oxide, zinc oxide aluminum, etc. have been reported. And coating solvents commonly used for coating thermal insulation films are mainly styrene-acrylic emulsion, acrylate, polyvinyl butyral, polyurethane and the like.
2.0 Transparent materials with low heat transfer coefficient, such as silica aerogel, water glass, and special glass synthesized by silica colloid with an average particle diameter of less than 5μm.
