Cesium tungsten oxide may be applied for preparing infrared ultraviolet shielding material, which is a new type of transparent, environmentally-friendly high-performance thermal insulation material. Such thermal insulation material may be used in the fields of automobiles or buildings. And therefore, experts are studying how to prepare cesium tungsten oxide powder for infrared ultraviolet blocking material with Cs/W (molar ratio) of 0.1:1?
First, a certain amount of sodium tungstate is weighed, dissolved in deionized water, and formulated into a 0.5mol/L sodium tungstate solution. And the sodium tungstate solution is ion-exchanged with styrene cation exchange resin to obtain 0.5mol/L tungstic acid solution;
Next, 20ml of 0.5mol/L tungstic acid solution is weighed and placed in a beaker. 12.6g of citric acid is added once with stirring. After stirring uniformly, 5ml of 0.3mol/L cesium carbonate solution is slowly added dropwise, followed by 10ml. Anhydrous ethanol and 20ml of deionized water are further stirred for 1h to obtain precursor solution;
Furthermore, the precursor solution prepared above is transferred into autoclave, and continuously hydrothermally reacted at 190°C for 3d;
Finally, the precipitate after the reaction was washed with water and alcohol three times in this order, and after centrifugation, it was dried in a sub-vacuum at 50°C for 10 hours to obtain cesium tungsten oxide powder.
