Cesium tungstate for nano-ceramic color master can be prepared by thermal plasma method. As you may have known, plasma technology is a means of applying certain ionized plasmas generated by plasma generators to achieve certain industrial production goals. The high temperature of the plasma can provide a high enthalpy working medium, and produce materials that cannot be obtained by conventional methods. As the atmosphere is controllable, the equipment is relatively simple, and the process flow can be significant shortened, so the plasma technology has been greatly developed.

In the past few years, some scholars have proposed a new type of inductively coupled thermal plasma method. The ammonium paratungstate and an alkali metal salt (such as cesium salt) are mixed by solid phase in the Ar and H2 atmosphere. In this process, plasma is used as a heat source to synthesize CsxWO3. The reaction formula is: xCsR+(NH4)10W12H2O42?4H2O→CsxWO3+10H2O+mCO2+10NH3
Based on inductively coupled thermal plasma technology, a high-flow continuous synthesis of cesium tungsten bronze nanoparticle with good tunable composition, high purity, high extinction coefficient in the near-infrared region, and little influence on transparency or visible light color is proposed.
