Nano Grain Size Cesium Tungstate Applied for Infrared Ultraviolet Shielding Material

Experts have proposed the method for the preparation of nano grain size cesium tungstate for infrared ultraviolet shielding material - ultrasonic method. The method is beneficial to obtain nano cesium tungstate with good dispersibility and less agglomeration. Also, the raw materials used are cheap, gentle and easy to operate, and therefore it can effectively reduce production cost. In other words, such preparation method is suitable for large-scale industrial production.

Preparation of Nano Cesium Tungstate
1.0 According to n (cs)/n (w) =0.33:1, sodium tungstate and cesium carbonate were dissolved in a citric acid solution and a methanol solvent at a concentration of 1.5mol/L. After stirring uniformly, the reaction is carried out at 180-200°C for 2-3 hours to obtain a mixture of tungsten and cesium;
2.0 Add an appropriate amount of urea to the mixture of tungsten and cesium, adjust the pH of the reaction solution to 3-5, and stir until the urea is completely dissolved. The agglomeration problem of the formed nanopowder can be improved by controlling the pH of the reaction.
3.0 The mixed solution completely dissolved in step 2.0 is washed with argon gas for 10-30 minutes, and subjected to chemical reaction for 2-6 hours under ultrasonic protection at 70-90°C under argon gas to obtain a gelatinous precipitate; wherein, frequency of ultrasonic radiation is 30.10kHz, which further ensures the dispersion effect of the mixture - more uniform dispersion and less agglomeration.
4.0 The gelatinous precipitate was aged for 4-24 hours, filtered, washed, vacuum dried, and calcined to obtain nano cesium tungstate powder.
