Tungsten Oxide Nanorods Applied for Nano Transparent Heat Insulation Coating

Tungsten oxide nanorods may be applied for producing nano transparent heat insulation coating. And the raw material tungsten oxide nano powder can be prepared by solvothermal method. For example, some experts have prepared tungsten oxide (WO3-x) by solvothermal method using n-propanol as an alcohol solvent, a reaction temperature of 200°C, a reaction time of 24h, and a molar solution concentration of 10mM. The morphology of the tungsten oxide nanopowder was found to be nanorods with a diameter of about several tens of nanometers and a length of about 100-150nm.

At the same time, experts also changed the molar concentration of the solution (15mM, 25mM) to prepare tungsten oxide nano particles with different morphology. The nanorods have a length of about 300-500nm and a cross-sectional diameter of about 150nm, and the uniformity is good.
