For example, some experts have used hydrothermal synthesis to prepare fluorine-doped tungsten bronze (CsxWO3-yFy). The raw materials are cesium carbonate (CsCO3) and sodium tungstate (Na2WO4). The inducer is citric acid, and the fluorine source is sodium fluoride (NaF) or fluoric acid (HF). Experts said that if NaF is selected as the fluorine source, the amount of addition should not exceed 0.28. If HF is selected as the fluorine source, the CsxWO3-yFy prepared at 0.45 can exhibit the best transparent heat insulation performance. The visible light transmittance rate and near-infrared shielding rate were 48% and 90%, respectively. So, theoretically, F doped cesium tungsten bronze is a better heat insulating material than pure cesium tungsten bronze.
