Tungsten oxide electrochromic film for producing thermal insulation glass can be prepared by screen printing. Some experts have performed performance analysis on electrochromic devices composed of an electrochromic layer - tungsten trioxide electrochromic thin film prepared by screen printing, an ion storage layer or counter electrode layer, an ion conductor layer and a transparent conducting oxide layer.

The experts tested the transmittance of three different tungsten oxide films after heat treatment with an ultraviolet spectrophotometer. At 632.8 nm, the transmittance of the tungsten oxide films printed one time, two times and three times after heat treatment was 78. %, 27% and 23%. Considering the practical application of the electrochromic window, the transmittance of the electrochromic thin film should reach the transmittance of normal architectural glass when it is not colored. Therefore, the film with a high initial transmittance is selected to discuss the difference in color change performance before and after heat treatment. Therefore, the film printed one time is selected for testing and analysis. Finally, experts found that tungsten trioxide electrochromic thin films have better electrochromic properties after heat treatment.
