What is chemical vapor transport? Chemical vapor transport means that in a sealed quartz tube, at a certain temperature, the reactant reacts or acts with a certain transport factor (such as HgCl, HgBr, HgI and PtCl), and then, transported to another temperature to undergo a recrystallization process in the form of a gas phase, so that the product crystal grains are sufficiently grown to obtain a desired product.
