Nano cesium tungsten bronze, nano CsxWO3, has good near-infrared shielding properties, so it can be used to prepare office thermal insulating film. Some experts prepared CsxWO3 (x=0.1, 0.2 and 0.3) powders with different cesium contents under low temperature and hydrothermal conditions using citric acid as the reaction solvent, and polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) as a film-forming agent. And the experts also prepared CsxWO3 films on the surface of glasses by roll coating.

Also, the experts studied the near-infrared shielding properties and thermal insulation properties of CsxWO3 films with different cesium content. The results show that the near-infrared shielding performance and thermal insulation effect of the cesium tungsten bronze films increase with the increase of the content of cesium in CsxWO3. Among them, Cs0.3WO3 film has the best near-infrared shielding performance and the best thermal insulation performance. Compared with blank glass, the thermal insulation temperature difference of the office thermal insulating film of nano cesium tungsten bronze can reach 13.5 °C.
