Paraffin wax-Cs0.33WO3 composite window can depress the indoor temperature fluctuation from 24.2 down to 7.3 °C. Wherein, the simulated day temperature rises from 17.9 °C to 25.2 °C, and then the simulated night temperature drops to 20.1 °C; while the indoor temperature fluctuation of bare glass windows is as high as ~24.2 °C, among which the temperature is raised from 17.9 °C to 42.1 °C and then lowered to 18.6 °C. It also shows the composite window is expected to improve energy efficiency of buildings locating in areas with high day–night or summer–winter temperature fluctuations.
